Types of OS

• Single user OS: one user will have access at one time.

• Multi user OS: Can handle multiple users as well as multiple peripherals.

•

• Network systems: All the systems are linked  togethere for the purpose of Communication (Centralization)

Operating System-linux

O.S: is a software program designed to act as an interface between user and the computer.

Functions of O.S :

1.Controls hardware

2.Manages system resources

3.Supervises interaction between the system and user.
